Question:

How do I clean my pan when something sticks in it?

NO MORE SCRUBBING!!

If you don't have nonstic cookware, at some point you've probably had something stick to your pan that required you to scrub and scrub, and maybe even then you couldn't get all of it off. Even if your cookware is of the nonstick variety, this can come in handy for you too. If you ever have something burn onto the bottom of your pan, run about two inches of hot water in the bottom, then add 1/4 cup of baking soda. Put on the stove and bring to a boil, stirring often. As soon as it boils, take it off the heat or it will boil over and you'll have a whole new mess to deal with. Let the pan sit for an hour or so, then dump out the water. voila! that burnt-on mess will fall right out with it. You'll still have to wash the pan, but cleanup will be a breeze. I've tried this on numerous occasions, and I'm here to tell you, IT WORKS!!!
